One of the nation’s largest natural stone manufacturers, Cold Spring Granite has a century-long tradition of designing and producing granite that is bold, creative and beautiful. Its work is prominently featured in both residential and commercial buildings and is also used for landscaping and for memorials. When it came time for the company to refresh its lobby and offices, Cold Spring turned to Star.

With only a small budget to work with, Star suggested Cold Spring invest the bulk of their resources into the creative portion of the project and we worked together to find a smart, beautiful solution that their employees could manufacture and install themselves. We helped them source individual elements and designed a granite-centric approach to their lobby space that showcases the company’s diverse materials and outstanding craftsmanship, all while encouraging visitors and employees to take pride in the company’s 110-year history.
