Installing a little holiday magic

Located within the Mall of America’s seven-acre indoor amusement park called Nickelodeon Universe, the Nickelodeon Store needed new retail fixtures to display signature products from their popular kids’ shows SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer, and Blues Clues. No problem. But designing, constructing and installing the displays during the busy holiday season, on a breakneck timeline? No problem—Star guaranteed it.

We signed a contract on Christmas Eve and delivered by New Year’s Day, quickly translating rough initial drawings into whimsical merchandising towers and slat wall cubes. The tight timeline required us to work a little creative magic, but sometimes that’s needed to honor our word. The Nickelodeon Store tells us their sales were double compared to the same time period the previous year. Happy New Year!
