Open the umbrella, protect those underneath

The production challenge was familiar: bring together many parts in order to tell the story of the whole. That’s what Stockholm-based ASSA ABLOY asked of us. The global leader in door-opening solutions that are secure, safe and easy to use, ASSA ABLOY—for the first time ever—wanted to feature the diverse products of its 20 distinct operating companies under one brand umbrella. We helped the company do that by creating a store-in-store environment that featured:

• Defined spaces for each of the operating companies, all of which led visitors to the back of the booth, where the parent company was prominently featured
• Balanced branding and messaging to promote a holistic, one-stop shopping experience
• Built-in flexibility to respond to varying show requirements for storage, graphics and multi-media
• Engaging “walk-in pods” to maximize floor space and provide visual interest
• Sophisticated cable lighting to showcase important products and themes

The result was a lightweight, turn-key, scalable exhibit that’s used for everything from large corporate events to individual vertical shows. Best of all, the exhibit gives ASSA ABLOY an easy way to simplify its story and present its distinct operating companies and their diverse products under one unifying brand umbrella.
