Star’s dedicated Pella team: nearly two decades of partnership

We’re proud of our 20-year relationship with Pella Windows and Doors—not just because they were one of our first clients, but because of the close-knit relationship that evolved over the years. Today, Star’s dedicated Pella team is a full-service, strategic partner handling all of Pella’s trade show, showroom and retail needs.

But it didn’t start out that way. We originally worked only on the retail side of Pella’s business. But a few years into the relationship, Pella, dissatisfied with its trade show vendor, asked us to handle its exhibits as well. Excited about the opportunity, we understood that our challenge was to turn a five-year old exhibit property into a smart program that was relevant to Pella’s builder audience.

Our dedicated Pella team did that and, a few years later, when Pella asked us to take its trade show program to the next level, we created a new 60’ x 110’ double-deck structure that was a favorite exhibit at the International Builders’ Show (IBS). Then there was the time our team pointed out how outdated the fixtures in Pella’s 200+ retails stores were and came up with a beautiful, flexible and cost-effective solution. Or the time our team recommended Pella display no product at IBS, to get their audience thinking beyond product. Or the time a few dedicated team members drove down to Pella, Iowa, to help fix the event manager’s home, damaged by a flooded river.

Sometimes “team” doesn’t adequately describe the deep connections we build with our customers.
