Opening one retail store requires coordination; rolling out a nationwide chain requires flawless execution of thousands of tasks. When women’s fashion designer, Vince Camuto, set out to launch 40 new retail shoe stores around the country, he partnered with Star— along with Wilson’s Leather, Banks Brothers and NorthMarq Property Management.
The project team relied on Startranet™—our proprietary online project, inventory and file management system—to coordinate the roll out of the stores and keep everyone well-informed every step of the way. With project management “in the cloud,” everyone could quickly access information, including the more than 300 notes related to just one task. And because every moment of the project is archived in the system, we can review the history, evaluate the process, and plan for future design and installation projects.
