Since 1993, Star has been meeting the creative marketing needs of an ever-changing industry while always staying focused on engaging audiences, connecting brands, and converting prospects into customers.

Mark Johnson and a team of dedicated professionals launched Star in 1993 with the vision of becoming a new kind of marketing partner, one that offered a unique customer focus and an integrated engagement strategy. We built our reputation as one of the first companies in the industry to offer secure line-item pricing, which we call Integrity Pricing. Combined with our practice of assigning dedicated account teams to each of our clients, and Startranet™, our proprietary online project and inventory management system, we soon became known for our customer-centric and personalized approach.

Focusing initially on trade show and retail interiors, our first home was a 12,000 square foot warehouse. Repeatedly recognized by City Business as one of the Twin Cities' 50 fastest-growing private companies, we quickly outgrew that space. Today, we operate in a 186,000 square foot facility where we've expanded our offerings to include trade show and retail environments, corporate interiors, mobile marketing, live events, and a full menu of cutting-edge communication technologies and strategic marketing solutions.
